Part-Time Customer Service Attendant

DescriptionThe City of Jefferson's Parks and Recreation Department is currently seeking Part-time Customer Service Attendant. This will work on an as needed basis to provide extensive customer service to citizens and customers pertaining to The Linc Wellness Center as well as other Parks and Recreation programs, facilities and other City services.Examples of DutiesReceive and refer callers, answer various inquiries, provide information on services, programs, and functions; receive and process payments for recreation program registrations and facility, campground, and court reservations, and dog park permits; mail, fax and photocopy and assist administrative staff with routine duties.Typical QualificationsMust have the ability to concentrate and input data with accuracy in a very fast-paced atmosphere with constant interruptions and noise; perform numerical detail work with speed and accuracy, provide excellent customer service, verbally communicate effectively, and maintain effective working relationships and interpersonal interactions with other employees and the public. Must be able to work independently with little supervision.Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years of age. Have a knowledge of computers and ability to learn specialized recreation program software, good math skills, and use of office equipment.Supplemental InformationThis position is anticipated to start at $15.05 an hour. The Customer Services Attendants at The Linc are paid $1.00 shift differential for each hour worked on the opening or closing shift.Ideal candidate will work on an as needed bases including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the department. The specific hours and days may vary based on departmental needs. The position necessitates availability during the following periods: Monday to Thursday from 4:30PM to 10:00PM, Friday from 4:30PM to 9:00PM, Saturday from 7:00AM to 6:00PM, and Sunday from 8:00AM to 10:00PM.For up-to-date operating hours for The Linc please visit: #J-18808-Ljbffr
