Director, Supply Chain Systems

Administrative Operations Manager 3

Administers and evaluates business and administrative matters within one department, including budget, operations, and programs and personnel administration.

Position Salary Range: $115,000-$120,000 per year; DOE

Essential Duties:

1. Oversee technical operations and system administration for supply chain, including service level expectations
2. Ensure technology is leveraged effectively to achieve organizational goals
3. Create technical strategy and long term plan for supply chain systems and tools, including use of AI
4. Provide technical guidance and support to partners, function and team to solve technical issues
5. Drive process improvements and innovation through the use of technology to improve capabilities
6. Create technology roadmap to drive efficiency and optimize supply chain performance
7. Develops effective technical solutions to solve supply chain issues and enable visibility across supply chain
8. Foster collaboration across partners and team members
9. Troubleshoot, analyze and identify issues to ensure the technical soundness of the system
10. Set priorities and manage the day to day operations of technical solutions
11. Set guidelines for system use and develop system controls and establish audit guidelines
12. Develop team capabilities to support modernizing supply chain technology and capabilities
13. Lead identification and mitigation of system risks
14. Lead system testing and development of interfaces with other systems
15. Support audits as necessary
16. Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Deep technical proficiency of supply chain and related financial technologies, processes and best practices.
• Strong ability to create technology plan including ability to mitigate risk in initiatives.
• Ability to motivate a team and deliver through others.
• Strong ability to align technical requirements with business objectives.
• Expert level problem solving to address complex technical challenges and the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced or evolving environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to align technical goals across departments. Strong operational skills to manage day to day technical services.
• Deep knowledge of compliance and standards, policies and security practices

Desired Qualifications:

• ERP and financial system implementation experience. Data science experience. Experience with supply chain planning, forecasting and inventory management. Experience with setting a technical strategy, including AI and expanding use of technology.

Working Environment:

• This role is located in ASU's Tempe, AZ. The environment is in an office setting in various campus buildings and athletic facilities. The role cannot typically be done remotely.
