Company: Campari America Job Title: HVAC Technician Job Location: Lawrenceburg, KY Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor General Description of the Role The HVAC Chiller Service Technician maintains the chiller and HVAC systems for the Lawrenceburg plant. Mission / Objectives The HVAC Chiller Service Technician diagnoses, repairs, replaces, and installs all associated components for cooling towers and chillers. Performs maintenance and service repairs on refrigeration, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Key Responsibilities and Activities Monitor and maintain the chiller system, performing PMs and making programming changes as needed. Monitor and maintain the heating and air conditioning systems in the plant. Perform PM’s and change filters as needed. Troubleshoot, maintain, and replace ventilation systems (exhaust fans, circulation fans, etc.). Maintain all ice machines, refrigerators, dishwashers and any other appliances on site, working with internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and resolve quality risks when identified. Adhere to and promote a safe working environment, keeping all materials, supplies, tools, and other production‑related items in place. Adherence to 5S standards is expected of the operator. Immediately report any safety items related to the employee or others to the supervisor or management. Safety items include bodily injury, near misses, potential dangers, spills, and other accidents. Perform maintenance tasks as necessary. Comply with ISO and food safety standards. Input various data in computer systems (such as material data, environmental control readings) and analyze and utilize data from the computer. Complete and submit repair orders for maintenance work. Make rounds, complete checklists, and maintain a detailed shift log. Perform any other duties as assigned by management. Key Relationships Internal: Site managers and supervisors External: Contractors and vendors Experience Required Must have experience in a manufacturing environment. Has working knowledge of chiller and HVAC operations. Education / Professional Qualifications HVAC Journeyman Mechanic License EPA 608 and 609 certified Skills Functional: Problem solving skills Attention to detail Customer service Technical: Start up, operate, and monitor chiller and HVAC systems. Perform maintenance on chiller and HVAC systems as needed. Essential Job Functions Physical Requirements: Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time. Climbing multiple flights of stairs. Climbing ladders. Frequently lifting a minimum of 40 lbs.
