IT Support Technician I (6 MONTHS CONTRACT)

Newly Weds Foods is looking for a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Technician I to join our growing IT Service Delivery & Support team. This role serves as an entry-level technical resource responsible for supporting corporate users, warehouse operations, manufacturing environments, and remote employees throughout the organization. The IT Support Technician I provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for end-user technologies, supports IT service management processes, assists with device provisioning and lifecycle management, and delivers exceptional customer service through in-person, remote, and walk-up support channels. This role is on-site based out of our Chicago campus location.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Help Desk & End User Support

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and approved business applications.
• Respond to incidents and service requests through the corporate ticketing platform.
• Document all troubleshooting activities, resolutions, and communications within the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT resources while maintaining ownership and communication with the end user.
• Deliver professional customer service while maintaining service level expectations.

Corporate IT Support

• Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Support conference room technology, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools.

Warehouse & Operational IT Support

• Assist in supporting warehouse and manufacturing technology environments.
• RF Scanning and warehouse printing solutions

Mobile Device & Endpoint Support * Support mobile device enrollment, configuration, and troubleshooting. Incident & Service Management

• Follow established Incident Management, Service Request, and Change Management procedures.
• Prioritize requests appropriately based on business impact and urgency.

Project & Operational Support

• Support technology refreshes, hardware deployments, go-lives, site integrations, and IT rollouts.
• Assist with equipment staging, imaging, testing, and deployment activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree required in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 0 to 3 years of experience in Information Technology, Help Desk, Desktop Support, End User Services, or Technical Support.
• Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
