Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Decatur, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM) | 36 hours per week | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed to support staffing and patient care continuity
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• Prior emergency room nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating to or working within a Clinical Decision Unit
• Strong ability to prioritize and manage high patient volumes in an emergency care environment
