Client Care Continuum (CCC) is a CARF-accredited behavioral health organization dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment and recovery services for veterans and individuals affected by substance use and mental health disorders. Our mission is to empower individuals through quality clinical care, recovery support, and a safe therapeutic environment.

Position Summary

Client Care Continuum is seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Director to provide leadership and oversight of all clinical services. The Clinical Director will ensure the delivery of high-quality, client-centered care while maintaining compliance with CARF standards, Alabama Department of Mental Health (ADMH) regulations, and all applicable federal and state requirements.

This position works closely with executive leadership to oversee clinical staff, ensure regulatory compliance, support program development, and promote positive treatment outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision for licensed clinicians and clinical staff.

  • Ensure quality, ethical, and evidence-based clinical services.

  • Oversee assessments, treatment planning, progress reviews, and discharge planning.

  • Monitor compliance with CARF, ADMH, HIPAA, and organizational policies.

  • Supervise clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

  • Provide clinical consultation and guidance to the treatment team.

  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, supervision, and performance evaluations of clinical staff.

  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.

  • Monitor program outcomes and assist with accreditation activities.

  • Collaborate with medical providers, case managers, community partners, and referral sources.

  • Participate in crisis intervention and clinical decision-making when needed.

  • Maintain current knowledge of behavioral health regulations and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related behavioral health field.

  • Current Alabama professional licensure (LPC, LICSW, LMFT, or equivalent) in good standing.

  • Minimum of three years of clinical leadership or supervisory experience in behavioral health.

  • Experience working with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders.

  • Strong understanding of CARF standards and regulatory compliance.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in residential treatment programs.

  • Experience serving veterans or military populations.

  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment models.

  • Experience with electronic health record systems (ICANotes preferred).
