Production Associate I

As a site-based Production Associate I, you will support manufacturing of MatTek tissue models by preparing media, handling cells, and coating, sterilizing, and packaging inserts according to SOPs. You will work under senior staff, perform QA testing, assist with product shipping, and help with general lab duties as needed. This is an onsite role in Ashland, MA. Grow with Us - Your Responsibilities Participate in duties associated with manufacturing of MatTek tissue models according to SOPs where applicable. Work under the direction of more senior Associates and the Laboratory Supervisor/Manager; report directly to the Laboratory Supervisor/Manager or Scientist/Senior Scientist. Prepare a variety of media and supplements using sterile technique and attention to detail. Trypsinize and count cells. Coat, cure, sterilize, and package cell inserts. Perform quality assurance via pH, osmolality, and endotoxin testing. Ship products – pack shipping boxes, and ensure contents are consistent with MAs. May also perform duties assigned under Laboratory Assistant as needed. What Will Convince Us Bachelor's degree in biology or equivalent with no previous work experience or associate's degree in biology or equivalent with 2+ years of hands‑on cell culture experience.
