We're on the hunt for a Head Barista who can run our espresso bar like a well-oiled (well-tamped?) machine. You'll be the person who trains the team, dials in, helps with keeping our menu seasonal and makes sure every shot pulled is one we'd be proud to serve. What You'll Actually Do

• Run day-to-day operations behind the espresso bar — the good, the busy, the "we're out of oat milk at 8am" chaotic
• Train new baristas on technique, standards, and how not to steam milk like it owes them money
• Dial in espresso as beans, seasons, and moods change (we roast in house)
• Keep equipment cleaned, calibrated, and running smoothly (grinders, machines, the works)
• Maintain quality and consistency across every drink, every shift
• Manage bar inventory — beans, milk, syrups, cups — so we never hit a Tuesday-morning crisis
• Bring good energy to a fast-paced counter, even during the 8:15am rush

What You Bring

• Required: Proven barista experience, ideally with some leadership or training under your belt
• A genuine love (borderline obsession) for coffee — you have opinions about extraction ratios
• Steady hands for latte art, steady patience for training newbies
• Comfort multitasking when the espresso machine, the register, and a line out the door all happen at once
• A collaborative, upbeat attitude — you'll be setting the tone for the whole bar team
