Summary of Job Duties:

An Plumber Apprentice will help licensed skilled tradesmen and learn to install trade related components in campus buildings; trade specific skills related to trouble-shooting, repairs and other duties within each Trade function. An apprentice will participate in training and demonstrate a willingness to learn a craft such as: Plumbing. Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• At least 18 years of age

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in the various trade areas
• Skilled in the use of operation and care of tools and machinery
• Ability to learn to perform manual labor under varying working conditions
• Ability to understand and follow oral instructions

Salary Information: $39,930; Commensurate with education and experience
