Warehouse Handyman

divh2Warehouse Handyman/h2pWe are looking for a skilled and dependable Warehouse Handyman to maintain the facility within our accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, including painting, plumbing, and mechanical repairs. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues and ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained warehouse environment. This position is Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:00pm./ph3Key Responsibilities:/h3ulliPerform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse facilities, including plumbing, painting, and structural components./liliInspect and maintain warehouse equipment, such as equipment, loading docks, and racking systems./liliConduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve efficiency./liliRepair and replace damaged doors, flooring, shelving, and other warehouse structures./liliAssist in setting up and installing new equipment and workstations./liliEnsure compliance with safety standards and regulations./liliMonitor inventory of maintenance supplies and request restocking as needed./liliRespond quickly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations./li/ulh3Qualifications Skills:/h3ulliProven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or similar role in a warehouse or industrial setting./liliStrong knowledge of plumbing, painting, and mechanical systems./liliAbility to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently./liliExperience with equipment repair and warehouse machinery maintenance is a plus./liliAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints./liliStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail./liliAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively./liliPhysical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform hands-on repairs./liliValid drivers license (if applicable)./li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications:/h3ulliCertification in a trade (e.g., electrical, HVAC, plumbing) is a plus./liliOSHA or safety training certification./liliExperience working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center environment./li/ulpCompensation: $20.00 per hour/p/div
