We are looking for a responsible Quality Inspector to check the quality of all incoming and outgoing material and products as well as production procedures. You will be a firm advocate of quality in our business.

The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. In-depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards is essential.

The goal is to ensure that our products are made of flawless materials with well-functioning equipment. That way our customers will enjoy high-quality merchandise so that we can achieve long-term success.

Primary Job Responsibility:

• Perform Visual Inspection and / or Mechanical inspection for in-process and final QC inspections on manufactured parts and assemblies.

• Identify and record any product quality problem(s).

• Communicate all quality issues to quality manager in a timely manner, along with recommendations for any corrective actions that may be necessary.

• Use computers to generate proper paperwork.

• General filing and use of copy machine.

• Use of a voltage and amperage measurement machine (low).

• Use of microscope for inspecting parts.

Position Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.

• 2 years inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Wire inspection/manufacturing experience preferred, familiar with IPC/WHMA-A-620E.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as well as basic math.

• Ability to understand and use basic inspection tools, such as: calipers, micrometers, microscopes 10x, and force gauges.

• Ability to understand product drawings, specifications, and visual work instructions.

• Follow Company Quality Management System and Safety procedures.

• Computer skills, including MS Office Excel and Word are a plus.

• ISO9001/AS9100 knowledge helpful.

• Self-starter, who can work independently with minimal supervision.

• Willingness to be trained and a quick learner.

• Willing to work overtime on weekdays and weekends, if needed.

• Other duties may be assigned by upper management.
