Professional Services Engineer IT/OT

Salary: $110,000 - 165,000 per year Requirements:

• We look for 5+ years of experience creating solutions in an industrial automation networking environment.
• We require a bachelors degree in engineering, information technology, or computer science.
• We prefer experience in a service delivery role within the industrial automation market.
• We value technical expertise in network communications.
• We need strong knowledge of networking disciplines, including cybersecurity, network architecture, edge computing, data orchestration, and wireless technologies.
• We expect proven analytical ability to identify root-cause network issues and resolve them effectively and promptly.
• We seek excellent communication and customer engagement skills, including the ability to gather requirements and provide tailored technical training to varied audiences.
• We require proficiency in producing clear, detailed assessment reports, technical documentation, and architectural deliverables with strong attention to accuracy.
• We prefer demonstrated success in similar roles across networking, industrial automation, or telecommunications.
• We need the ability to work independently or as part of multidisciplinary teams to achieve goals and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCDP certification is preferred.
• We require the ability to travel to perform the duties of the role, with travel frequency above 50%.

• We conduct detailed networking assessments, audits, and health checks to uncover improvement opportunities and recommend best-practice solutions.
• We prepare and maintain thorough assessment reports, technical documentation, and supporting customer materials.
• We act as a technical advisor, working with project managers and customer stakeholders to deliver advanced configurations and integrations.
• We lead deployment planning, equipment preparation, and on-site implementation work, including hardware installation and software setup.
• We install and integrate solutions onsite and remotely while following established methods, processes, and system requirements.
• We support customers and partners with configuration needs for integration points in their environments.
• We provide subject matter expertise across the full product portfolio, implementation methods, and related technologies.
• We ensure successful installation, commissioning, and validation of customer solutions.
• We develop and deliver customized technical training for customers, installers, engineers, and other key audiences.
• We optimize network designs and configurations to align with customer needs.
• We complete solution handover to support teams to ensure a smooth operational transition.
