Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Description: The Cath Lab Technologist will perform a variety of procedures within the cardiac catheterization lab, utilizing advanced equipment and technology to assist in patient care. The role involves working collaboratively with a dedicated team to ensure the highest standards of patient experience and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in various cardiac procedures, including PCI, TAVR, and IABP.
• Ensuring proper operation and maintenance of lab equipment such as GE Innova and Impella.
• Participating in STEMI call as required, approximately 10-12 days per month.
• Documenting procedures accurately using MacLab and Meditech systems.
• Floating between departments, specifically EP and Stress lab as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Experience in Cath Lab, particularly with Structural Heart procedures and technologies such as Impella, IABP, IFR, and FFR.
• Knowledge of patient care practices within a Cath Lab setting.
