Registered Nurse - Psychiatric

Job Summary:
Seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Psychiatric care to provide mental health services in a hospital setting. The nurse will deliver expert patient care, support recovery, and promote wellness for individuals with behavioral health needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' mental and physical health status to develop personalized care plans.
• Administer medications, therapies, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor patient progress and document clinical observations accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive mental health treatment.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to manage behavioral emergencies.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, coping strategies, and wellness practices.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in good standing.
• Possess at least 2 years of clinical experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing.
• Demonstrate strong assessment and crisis management skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• CPR and TIC (Trauma-Informed Care) certification a plus.
