Role Description:

• Provide support and expertise to the business community to assist with better utilization of Business Intelligence tools and IT solutions, for competitive advantage measures.
• Work with project lead and business users to understand requirements, conduct analysis and recommend solution options
• Translate customer project requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for BI reports and applications.
• Contribute to and support the organization’s Business Intelligence strategy
• Development and deployment of BI Solutions
• Work with internal resources during development phases to ensure appropriate knowledge transfer;
• Develop, implement and maintain test strategies and plans
• Participate in data governance for Organization’s core source systems to ensure reporting requirements can be met
• Assist in the development of database and development standards

2. Hands-on development/maintenance experience in Microstrategy 9.3, Knowledge/Experience on enterprise portal integration, mobile integration, write back to source data based on analysis by business users, alerts via mail, mobile based on pre-defined events
3. Be able to architect solutions on MSTR platform
4. Good conceptual knowledge and working experience on meta data creation, creating report specifications, integration test planning & testing, unit test planning & testing, UAT & implementation support
5. Strong knowledge of quality processes (SDLC, Review, Test, Configuration Management, Release Management, Defect Prevention
6. Good communication skills and comfortable in interacting directly with clients
