Required Skills:

• Valid Kentucky medical license in good standing
• Proven experience in obstetrics and gynecology, including c-sections and emergency care
• Ability to work independently in a hospital setting during 24-hour shifts
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Clear background with no prior issues

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous hospitalist or in-house obstetrics experience
• Skills in managing high-risk pregnancies and emergency procedures
• Bilingual abilities or additional language proficiency

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN
• Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology in a hospital setting

Other Requirements:

• Must drive to the hospital (no airfare considered)
• Will operate in a facility with 2 ORs designated for C-sections and emergencies
• Keep all communication exclusively through LocumSmart; no phone calls or emails
• Willingness to work 24-hour shifts and handle emergency obstetric procedures
