Title: Controls Design Engineer



Location: Pelzer, SC

Job Description: The Controls Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of FMS/BMS and data center control systems from pre-sales through commissioning. The role includes developing control schematics, I/O lists, Sequence of Operations (SOO), riser diagrams, and construction drawings. The engineer will work with PLC-based controls, system integration, and communication protocols such as Modbus, SNMP, TCP/IP, and RS-485. The position also involves coordination with electrical, mechanical, vendors, and commissioning teams. Modular experience is preferred.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5 10 years of Controls Engineering experience.
• Experience with FMS/BMS design, integration, testing, and commissioning.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent engineering tools.
• Data center controls experience preferred.
• Modular experience preferred.
