Job Opportunity

Position Overview

This full-time leadership role is focused on overseeing operations across multiple campuses, with a regular work schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The selected supervisor will be responsible for providing operational leadership in a multi-campus MRI program while also performing clinical MRI examinations as needed during staffing shortages or operational demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily MRI operations across multiple campuses.
• Coordinate staffing, manage schedules, and plan operations effectively.
• Provide clinical support and MRI scanning coverage during staff shortages.
• Manage patient flow and optimize scanner utilization.
• Ensure MRI safety oversight and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Coach, onboard, and manage employee performance.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, anesthesia personnel, and operational leadership.
• Identify and implement workflow improvement initiatives.
• Monitor quality metrics, patient experience, and departmental performance.

Requirements

• Supervisor/Charge Experience: 3 years required.
• Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support).
• 8 years of relevant experience.
• Certification: ARMRIT or ARRT R-ARRT MR preferred.
• Venipuncture skills are required.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership skills, excellent operational judgment, robust clinical MRI expertise, and the ability to balance supervisory functions with hands-on clinical support when necessary. Experience in managing multi-site imaging operations and leading teams in a complex healthcare environment is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

Experience must encompass a wide range of routine and advanced MRI services in a high-volume environment, including:

• Neuro MRI
• Cardiac MRI
• Body MRI
• Musculoskeletal MRI
• Breast MRI and MRI-guided breast biopsy
• Pelvic MRI
• Prostate MRI and ablation procedures
• Interventional MRI procedures

Location

This position will require traveling across multiple campuses located in various cities in California.
