High School English Teacher

Position Available High School English Teacher Position Starts Monday, July 27, 2026 Schedule 7:45AM to 4:15PM, Monday thru Friday in keeping with academic schedule. Primary Purpose To provide on campus, classroom instruction for middle and/or high school students in a diverse, private school in Jacksonville, Florida. Responsibilities Providing appropriate learning experiences for students across a range of cultural backgrounds. Ensuring proper classroom etiquette and behavior. Preparing and following class-appropriate lesson plans. Requirements Communicating effectively with students and parents concerning student progress. Working both independently and with the department team to ensure student success. Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills. Qualifications Previously taught in a Florida public or private school for 3 or more years. Bachelor's Degree (4 years from an accredited university). Benefits / Compensation Base salary negotiable between $38,000 - $41,000 per year (prorated based on start date). Participation in 403(b) retirement plan available immediately upon hire.
