NEW Permanent RN Charge Nurse - Evening Shift | Weekdays Only | Leadership Opportunity


A well-established healthcare organization in Western New York is seeking an experienced RN Charge Nurse to lead evening operations within a Medical/Surgical Rehab unit. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical leader looking for a consistent weekday schedule and a supportive, team-oriented environment.


Position Details:

• Role: RN Charge Nurse (Med/Surg Rehab)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday | 3:00pm-11:00pm
• No weekends or holidays
• Setting: Inpatient Medical/Surgical Rehab Unit

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee evening clinical operations and ensure high-quality patient care
• Supervise and support nursing staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
• Coordinate patient care activities including assessments, care planning, admissions, and discharges
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with EMR standards
• Oversee medication administration, IV therapy, and wound care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
• Active New York RN license
• Prior charge nurse or supervisory experience required
• Strong leadership, clinical judgment, and communication skills
