Exciting Opportunity for a Bariatrics APP

Our organization in Mason City, Iowa, is thrilled to announce a fantastic opening for a Bariatrics Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to become a part of our Bariatric Surgery team. We welcome both new graduates and seasoned professionals to apply!

Opportunity Highlights

• Collaborate with a dedicated team consisting of 1 Bariatric Surgeon and 2 APPs.
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Engage in a combination of clinic and surgical responsibilities.
• No on-call duties required!
• The clinic is situated within a multi-specialty facility connected to a regional referral teaching hospital with 342 beds.
• Primary service area encompasses approximately 260,000 residents.
• Facility includes a Level III Trauma Center with helicopter services.

Position Details

• Compensation: Starting salary of $114,000+, plus a $25,000 recruitment bonus!

About the Medical Center

Our regional health system spans 14 counties and includes a teaching hospital, seven critical access hospitals, and 42 clinics throughout northern Iowa. The medical center offers residency programs in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine, as well as fellowships in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified as a Physician Assistant (PA).
• Must be eligible to obtain an Iowa medical license, DEA, and CSA, along with medical staff privileges at our facility.
