Job Description:


A full-time opportunity is available for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Ophthalmologist to join a growing and well-supported practice. This role focuses on general ophthalmology with an emphasis on cataract and glaucoma care. The position offers access to advanced diagnostic and surgical technology, dedicated operating room time, and a collaborative team environment with experienced clinical staff and leadership support.



Shift / Schedule:

• Full-time position
• Day schedule
• At least one day per week in the operating room, with opportunity to increase surgical volume

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of ophthalmologic conditions, including cataracts and glaucoma
• Perform surgical procedures and manage pre-operative and post-operative care
• Provide comprehensive outpatient eye care services
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment for patient evaluation and treatment planning
• Collaborate with technicians, clinical staff, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
• Participate in potential teaching opportunities with residency programs

Requirements:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Ophthalmology
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
• Strong clinical and surgical skills in ophthalmology
