Work Location: Madison, AL
Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Work Schedule: 4x10 (Monday - Thursday)
Security Clearance: No Clearance Required Job Description:
• Perform a variety of production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
• Work from engineering drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions to assemble products.
• Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, saws, and other assembly equipment.
• Perform continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies.
• Conduct quality inspections in accordance with established quality standards.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies.
• Support precision assembly operations using microscopes and specialized assembly equipment.
Must Haves:
• Minimum 2+ years of related assembly experience.
• Experience with soldering (J-Standard certification preferred), Surface Mount Technology (SMT) packages, or wire harness construction .
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Experience working with microscopes for precision assembly.
Preferred:
• Experience assembling and troubleshooting Radio Frequency (RF) and/or Communication, Navigation, and Identification (CNI) systems.
• Experience performing rework and modification of dense SMT circuit boards and prototype cables.
• Proficiency using microscopes for assembling small mechanical parts.
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) such as SAP, Solumina, or Tableau .
• Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge), FOD (Foreign Object Damage), and ITAR/AS9100 regulations.
Education/Experience:
Typically requires 2+ years of assembly experience in an electronics or manufacturing environment. Candidates with experience in SMT assembly, soldering, wire harness construction, RF systems, and precision assembly using microscopes are highly preferred.
