MRI Technologist (Pediatric Cardiac MRI)

Position Title: MRI Technologist – Pediatric Cardiac MRI
Location: San Diego 92123
Start Date: 06/15/2026
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift – 5x8-Hour (07:00 AM – 03:30 PM)
Charting System: Epic (Required)

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality Pediatric Cardiac MRI procedures in accordance with physician protocols and departmental standards
• Operate Siemens MRI equipment efficiently and safely
• Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
• Accurately document patient information and imaging procedures using Epic EMR
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, MRI safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
• Support workflow in a fast-paced, high-acuity pediatric imaging environment

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Cardiac MRI experience in a high-volume, high-complexity pediatric center
• Strong/robust Cardiac MRI (CMR) experience required
• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment required
• Epic charting experience required
• Current ARMRIT certification required
• Current ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
