RN - PACU

PACU nursing involves the care of patients who are recovering from surgery, particularly when the application of anesthesia is involved. Once the patient sufficiently recovers from the effects of the anesthesia, he/she is typically transferred to the appropriate ward or discharged from the hospital. PACU nurses are typically responsible for providing patient care during the immediate postoperative recovery period. They typically have training in basic life support measures, airway management, acute surgical wound care, catheter procedures and the special requirements associated with anesthesia. PACU nurses may also be trained in the use of cardiac life support equipment.

Cancellation Policy: Guaranteed Hours: Facility reserves the right to reduce the scheduled shifts of an Agency Professional due to low patient census no more than 2 shifts per 13 week contract. Cancellation: Should facility terminate the contract assignment for any reason outside of cause, facility must give agency a 14 day notice. Should facility be unable to provide such 14 days cancellation notice, facility shall pay agency the guaranteed hours hours at the all inclusive bill rate per the confirmation page
