About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN PACU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years critical care experience License: RN License Certifications: ACLS preferred Must-Have: Candidates must possess critical care experience of at least 2 years. Willingness to work with both pediatric and adult patients. Description: We are seeking a Travel RN for the PACU. The position involves working in a busy Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. The unit has a total of 21 beds and a staff of 14 per day. The daily staff typically includes a charge nurse, several RNs, and patient care technicians. Patient ratios in the PACU are generally 1:2. The unit uses monitoring equipment and stretchers, with Meditech as the electronic medical record system. There is a monthly on-call requirement. Candidates with prior experience in Meditech are preferred. Experience in PACU is an additional asset. This role offers a chance to work independently while also being part of a supportive team.
