Responsibilities Conduct database research via the internet and industry databases Review and analyze case notes and case instructions to determine pertinent information Complete detailed reports on findings within designated turnaround timeframe Collaborate with team members to identify accurate databases Edit investigative reports for quality and compliance Conduct covert surveillance and activity checks for investigations Capture and document video footage and complete reports with timestamps Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to legal/ethical guidelines Adapt to irregular hours as investigations require Attend and testify at hearings when necessary Requirements Private Investigator License for the State of Nebraska Valid driver’s license with a clean record Reliable vehicle for surveillance assignments (neutral color preferred) Basic surveillance equipment (e.g., digital/covert cameras, laptop, smartphone) High-speed, secure internet connection for research investigations Ability to sit/stand for extended periods and meet strict deadlines Minimum auto insurance coverage: $100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident bodily injury/$50,000 property damage Windows 11 or greater required, with 8+gb of RAM preferred Mac OSX 13 or greater required for iMac Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, or related field (preferred) Experience in insurance claims, fraud investigations, or customer service (preferred) Military or law enforcement background preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
