Acara Solutions and our defense client have a contract-to-hire position for a Government Property Administrator in Anaheim, CA Job Title: Government Property Administrator Employment Type: Temp to Direct Industry: Aerospace and Defense Compensation:$35.00-$40.00/Hour Schedule: 9/80 1 st Shift What You'll Do: Plan, implement, and monitor contractor property management systems. Perform continuous surveillance and evaluation of contractor property management procedures. Review contractor records and processes to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and government policies. Participate in meetings with contractor personnel to provide guidance on resolving complex property management challenges. Investigate incidents involving lost, damaged, destroyed, or improperly used government property. Analyze new contracts to determine property management requirements and system readiness. Ensure contractor procedures and controls adequately support contract compliance. Conduct final property reviews at contract completion to verify accurate disposition, documentation, and recordkeeping. About the Opportunity: Oversee and implement property management systems for assigned contractors while ensuring compliance with contractual and government requirements. Conduct ongoing evaluations, audits, and investigations related to contractor-managed property. APPLY TODAY Job Requirements What You'll Bring: High School Diploma or GED 6+ years of experience in purchasing (contracting), accounting/auditing, logistics, maintenance, production (manufacturing), property utilisation, marketing, industrial planning, storage or supply management, legal, financial, engineering, quality assurance, inventory control, data processing, inspection of material, or similar activities. 6+ years of experience in a trade or craft that provided knowledge of industrial operations and practices related to the control of property is also qualifying What Sets You Apart: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Accounting or Law or Marketing or Statistics or Production Management or Industrial Management Skill in developing, implementing, administering, evaluating, monitoring, or coordinating programmes, policies, regulations and procedures concerned with the management, control, utilisation, or disposition of personal or industrial property; Knowledge of the values and uses of property items, merchandising methods, marketing techniques and outlets, or general trade practices related to the disposition of property; and the ability to understand and evaluate business practices relating to the acquisition, control, use, consumption, maintenance and preservation of property; Working knowledge of equipment, machinery, tools, materials, or other items of personal or real property; Knowledge of Government sales policies, regulations and methods; and Knowledge of contract provisions, and ability to interpret and apply contract clauses and Government procurement regulations. An understanding of general business and industrial practices, and demonstrated the ability to deal satisfactorily with others.
