MAINTENANCE MANAGER - INDUSTRIAL PLANT

Title: Maintenance Manager
Location: Brownwood, TX
Compensation: Starting at $120,000+ Relocation Sign On

 

Candidate Qualities:

• 7+ years industrial maintenance experience
• 3+ years supervisory/leadership experience
• Experience coaching, training, and developing technicians
• Ability to build a high-performing maintenance organization

• Preventive Maintenance (PM)
• Predictive Maintenance (PdM)
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Reliability improvement
• Equipment uptime optimization
• CMMS utilization

3. Technical Depth

Candidate should be comfortable working across:

• Mechanical systems
• Electrical systems
• PLCs
• HMIs
• Automation controls
• Facility systems
• Troubleshooting complex equipment issues

People Leadership

• Lead and develop maintenance team
• Coach technicians
• Establish accountability
• Improve technical capabilities

Maintenance Operations

• Manage daily maintenance activities
• Prioritize work orders
• Schedule shutdowns
• Oversee CMMS execution
• Manage contractor relationships

Reliability Engineering

• Drive preventative maintenance programs
• Improve equipment reliability
• Lead root cause investigations
• Reduce downtime

Capital Projects

• Lead projects under $100K
• Support larger facility expansion projects
• Manage startup and commissioning activities

Inventory Management

• Manage storeroom
• Control spare parts inventory
• Ensure critical components availability
• OSHA compliance
• Enforcement of safe work practices
• Support plant safety culture
• Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Superintendent, or Maintenance Supervisor ready for a larger role
• 7-15 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
• Strong hands-on technical background
• Experienced leading technicians and electricians
• Familiar with CMMS, PM/PdM, and reliability programs
• Comfortable managing budgets, inventory, and projects
