Details Care for Cardiac ICU patients with overflow coverage from MICU, Trauma ICU, and Neuro ICU Patient ratio of 1:2 Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:30) Every other weekend required with flexibility for unit needs Floating to other ICUs and boarder areas should be expected No on-call requirements Epic charting system required 23 staffed beds on the unit Requirements Active WA or compact RN license required Minimum 2-3 years of critical care experience required Prior travel nursing experience required, with at least 2 contracts preferred Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS TNCC certification preferred Level I Trauma facility experience required Teaching hospital experience preferred Epic charting experience required Skills required include arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, and cardiac drip titration Experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, and CVVHD/CRRT preferred Experience with EVD, ICP monitoring, and lumbar drains preferred Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to cardiac ICU patients with a focus on cardiology Manage complex cases including multisystem organ dysfunction and dysrhythmias Avoidance of travel pairs preferred by unit management Scrub color is blue, facility-provided as needed or solid color of your own COVID vaccination and booster required with no exceptions RTO should be kept to a minimum and cannot be requested during the first two weeks of the assignment Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate with no radius restriction Prior UW staff must have an 18-month separation before returning as a traveler First-time travelers are not accepted for this position American Traveler Job ID P-768018.
