CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Overview We are hiring immediately for full time and part time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions. Location: Duke Fuqua School of Business - 1 Towerview Drive, Durham, NC 27708. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full time and part time; Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, some weekends required based on events. Further details upon interview. Pay: Fixed Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available. Responsibilities Operate Point of Sale system and assist the Chef. Prepare coffee and keep coffee and cashier stations clean. Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts; assist with catering orders as needed. Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving. Perform general cleaning duties and remove trash to designated areas. Maintain cash accuracy with receipts; make deposits at the end of each shift. Inventory and restock supplies and food products. Set up serving line and monitor temperatures; notify cooks if temperatures are not within acceptable ranges. Serve hot and cold items to customers; set up daily items for purchase. Keep refrigerator stocked and rotate products using the first in, first out rule. Record floor stock and refrigerator temperatures daily. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous cashiering and food handling experience preferred. Barista experience a plus. Willingness to train.
