Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit during 13-week travel assignments. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the unit's operations during night shifts. Responsibilities:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit during 13-week travel assignments. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the unit's operations during night shifts. Responsibilities:
- Administer direct patient care according to physician orders and care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs, documenting findings accurately in the EMR system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and unit guidelines.
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed.
- Adhere to dress code standards, wearing navy blue scrubs with the St. David's logo.
- Current RN license with an active state license.
- Minimum of 3 years of hospital experience in a Med Surg environment.
- BLS certification required.
- Ability to work night shifts 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Demonstrate flexibility, open feedback, and ownership mentality.
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
