Change Management Manager (Remote)

Organizational Change Management Consultant Location: Remote but requires occasional onsite in Oakland, CA.

Headquartered in Oakland, California, our client is a leading nonprofit provider of comprehensive, integrated care for older adults in the East Bay. They are in an exciting period of technology transformation, having recently hired their first-ever CIO to drive a future-ready IT roadmap focused on cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance, and AI adoption. Serve as the change management lead for multiple concurrent IT initiatives, ensuring a consistent, structured approach to change
Develop and execute comprehensive Prosci ADKAR®based change management plans, including stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, readiness assessments, and mitigation strategies
Translate complex IT and system changes into clear, peoplefocused messages that support awareness, desire, and adoption
Partner with Training and business stakeholders to help design a practical, rolebased training approach that supports knowledge and ability
Actively support implementation activities, including facilitating change sessions, stakeholder meetings, workshops, and frontline engagement
Identify resistance risks and proactively design and implement strategies to address resistance and accelerate adoption
provide regular status updates, insights, and recommendations to project and leadership teams
Travel to client locations throughout the East Bay as needed to support inperson change activities, leadership engagement, and frontline adoption

Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Information Systems, or a related field; Prosci Change Management Certification required
~ 5+ years of hands-on change management experience supporting IT, digital, or systems implementations
~ Proven ability to operate at both a strategic planning level and a tactical execution level
~ Willingness and ability to travel locally within the East Bay as business needs require
