Job Description The Upper Darby School District is seeking a full‑time School Psychologist. Qualifications PA Instructional Certificate – School Psychologist PK‑12 Out‑of‑state educators and applicants seeking an emergency certificate should review the guidelines set by the PA Department of Education. Pennsylvania certification information is available at MA required in an appropriate major of study Knowledge of certification area Essential Functions Completion of school‑age evaluations, re‑evaluations, gifted evaluations, and Functional Behavior Assessments. Consult with teachers to provide education on various disabilities and classroom strategies. Collaborate with school teams regarding appropriate interventions for students. Maintain compliance for all evaluations and re‑evaluations. Participate in the building threat assessment team. Collaborate with school‑based teams and parents to determine the need for an evaluation. Complete evaluations and re‑evaluations for out‑of‑district students, non‑public school students, and students transitioning from early intervention into the district. Stay apprised of testing protocols and different types of assessments that benefit students. Other duties as assigned.
