RN - Pediatric ER

Registered Nurse - Pediatric Emergency Department Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30), every other weekend. Job Description The Pediatric Emergency Department (ED) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to pediatric patients. The unit features a separate pediatric area and requires proficiency in ventilator management, as well as previous experience in a pediatric emergency setting. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in the ED. Utilize advanced skills in ventilator management. Monitor and manage patient ratios effectively (1:5+). Care for holding patients as necessary. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience, with pediatric ED experience required. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory at the time of submission. Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required.
