How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

• Lead the development of individualized pulmonary care plans by assessing patient diagnoses to determine the most effective treatment type and frequency.
• Optimize patient outcomes by performing advanced respiratory care and vigilantly monitoring clinical conditions to ensure the highest standard of treatment.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory practices and medication administration, proactively adjusting plans of care to ensure patients are reaching their recovery goals.
• Empower patients and their families by providing clear education on their health conditions and connecting them with vital community resources and support programs.
• Respond with precision and expertise as a key member of the emergency resuscitation team, providing life-saving interventions when they are needed most.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Indiana Respiratory Care Committee obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
