Senior Mechanical Engineer
An established engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of mechanical building systems for a variety of commercial, institutional, hospitality, municipal, and higher education projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HVAC and mechanical system design for new construction and renovation projects
- Manage workload and mentor junior engineering staff
- Review design calculations, equipment selections, and construction documents
- Develop project specifications and perform code compliance reviews
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, and project teams
- Assist with business development, client relationships, and project interviews
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Florida PE license required
- 10+ years of consulting engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, building codes, AutoCAD, and Revit
