This role is part of our Space and Launch business, which has contributed to the nation’s space programs for decades by delivering complete solutions from concept to flight. We enable successful space operations with mission-critical technology supporting every step from first launch to final landing, including launch vehicle subsystems, propulsion systems, aerodynamic and interstage systems, and payload protection and deployment. Our high-performance solutions are engineered to operate in the most extreme environments and meet precise mission requirements.
As an Electronics/Harness Technician I, you support the assembly, testing, and fabrication of electro‑mechanical components that contribute to high‑performance space systems. The role focuses on wire harness fabrication, electrical integration, and basic mechanical assembly while following engineering documentation and established procedures. Your hands‑on work ensures product quality and supports efficient production by assisting with testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining a safe and orderly workspace.
Responsibilities
- Performs wire harness fabrication including splicing, crimping, connector installation, and soldering on various cable types.
- Executes potting and encapsulation processes for connectors and electronics.
- Reads and follows engineering drawings, bills of materials, work instructions, and assembly procedures.
- Troubleshoots assembly issues under limited supervision to support production flow.
- Assembles and tests mechanical systems using standard electronic test equipment.
- Maintains a safe work environment and reports potentially unsafe conditions.
- Assists with basic facility maintenance and shop clean‑up activities.
- Uses basic hand tools and power tools to complete assigned assembly tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience using basic hand tools and power tools.
- One to two years of experience in a technical or assembly environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation and assembly instructions.
- Ability to perform moderate, repetitive physical work, including standing for extended periods and occasional heavy lifting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, frequency generators, or similar electronic test equipment.
- Experience in fast‑paced, hands‑on technical environments.
Physical Requirements
- Moderate physical and repetitive work.

- Use of stairs.
- Occasional heavy lifting.
