Psychiatry Physician

Seeking a compassionate, board-certified Psychiatry Physician to join a private behavioral medicine practice in Daphne, Alabama, or Navarre, Florida . This is an opportunity to practice in a progressive outpatient setting focused on high-quality psychiatric care and innovative treatment options.

Position Overview

The practice offers comprehensive behavioral health services with an emphasis on detailed diagnostics, individualized treatment planning, and patient-centered care. In addition to standard outpatient psychiatry, the clinic provides advanced therapies such as NeuroStar TMS Therapy , a non-invasive outpatient treatment for major depressive disorder cleared by the FDA.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and follow-up care.

• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.

• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications.

• Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

• Educate patients on treatment options, including advanced behavioral health therapies.

• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.

• Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry preferred.

• Active and unrestricted medical license, or ability to obtain one.

• Strong skills in psychiatric assessment and medication management.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient care skills.

• Outpatient behavioral health experience preferred.
