This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

8:00 PM - 6:30 AM, including call shifts and weekend rotation.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in the Main Operating Room. This position operates within a fast-paced environment, focusing on orthopedic, general, urology, and vascular surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of the operating room and ensure equipment is operational.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to provide safe and efficient care.
• Document patient information and care accurately in the Meditech system.
• Float to other areas as required when operating rooms are shut down.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have experience in orthopedic major joint surgeries and general surgery.
• Experience in urology (open & cysto) and vascular surgery is preferred.
• Certification in BLS is a plus.
• Strong teamwork, dedication, and positive attitude are essential.
