Role Summary The Senior Graphic Designer will design and produce complex graphics and materials for marketing and other departments in both print and digital formats. This position will be responsible for conceptualizing project solutions, designing graphics and implementing the design and production of marketing materials. The Senior Graphic Designer will also provide direct support to department and national needs associated with project opportunities, branding, events, programs and other miscellaneous projects. All activities will be performed in support to the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn. Autonomy & Decision-Making: Makes decisions on routine matters, provides recommendations to supervisor and refers all exceptions to supervisor. Key Role Responsibilities - Core CREATIVE SERVICES FAMILY - CORE Designs creative solutionsto be used in proposals, presentation, advertisements, and events. Communicates the marketing strategy through visual design concepts. Produces presentation materials and deliverables for internal purposes and project pursuits. Generates event graphics and ideas, and attend events such as: trade shows, conferences, client events, and in-house planned activities. Implements the design and production of marketing materials and special projects for marketing and other departments, ensuring corporate identity is maintained. Conducts research from various resources to obtain information about potential clients. Utilizes a variety of resources to collect information and graphic materials for marketing projects. Demonstrates commitment to the highest standards of client satisfaction by displaying courtesy and sensitivity and responding promptly to client needs. Meets client commitments, recognizes and acts upon service opportunities. Solicits and applies feedback to improve quality of design and service. Key Role Responsibilities - Additional Core SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER In addition, this position will be responsible for the following: Attends press checks as needed to maintain quality and corporate standards. Develops and implements graphic concepts at a high level for national distribution. Develops and implements graphics to support and evolve the Company’s brand at a regional and national level. Works with management to provide input and ideas to develop the corporate identity standards, supporting brand image and standards. Possesses strong conceptual skills with a high-level sense of design and layout. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner Communication skills, verbal and written Proficiency in MS Office – Intermediate Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Reader – Advanced Organizational skills Ability to deliver quality through attention to detail – Advanced Ability to learn and use a variety of software, tools and systems necessary to meet business needs – Intermediate Ability to quickly and effectively solve complex problems – Advanced Ability to work in a collaborative, fast paced, and deadline driven environment Ability to be proactive and resourceful Ability to adapt to change Inspires a sense of team in the work environment. Utilizes communication and conflict resolution skills to help foster teamwork and collaboration. Demonstrates a positive and professional attitude, maintaining composure under pressure Ability to presents a positive disposition and maintains constructive interpersonal relationships when under stress Ability to manage difficult or emotional client situations promptly and efficiently Ability to effectively manage, design and produce multiple projects of varying complexities from conception to completion Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally Education Bachelor’s degree in graphics design or related field (Required) In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered.
