Klaviyo Email (Retention) Specialist (2026)

The Role As a Klaviyo Email Specialist, you're the execution engine inside a retention pod. You work directly alongside a Retention Strategist to bring lifecycle strategies to life, building campaigns and flows, managing the content calendar, briefing designers and copywriters, and making sure every email that goes out is on-brand, on-time, and error-free. This is not a strategy role - but it's the role that makes strategy real. If you're detail-obsessed, fast in Klaviyo, and take pride in flawless execution, you'll thrive here. Primary Duties Build, schedule, and deploy email and SMS campaigns and flows in Klaviyo across a portfolio of US DTC brands Set up and configure Klaviyo email and SMS accounts for new clients Own the campaign calendar - keeping it current, flagging risks early, and making sure nothing slips Write creative briefs for designers and copywriters, and manage the email design process from brief to approval Pull and compile monthly performance reports across email and SMS accounts Communicate directly with clients on campaign approvals, design feedback, and performance updates Collaborate with your Retention Strategist and pod (designer, copywriter) on all client deliverables Maintain a strong design eye - you're not building the emails, but you know when something looks off-brand Qualifications Minimum 1 year of hands‑on Klaviyo experience - campaigns, flows, segmentation, and reporting Minimum 6 months of agency experience or managing multiple clients simultaneously Strong attention to detail - you catch errors before they go live, not after Clear written and verbal communication skills - you can write a concise client update or design brief without being asked twice Strong project management skills - ClickUp experience is a plus SMS experience (Klaviyo or Postscript) is a plus Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills Benefits Work alongside world‑class DTC retention strategists, paid social specialists, and eCommerce growth marketers every day A dedicated pod structure - you're supported by a strategist and designer, not working in isolation Access to ongoing training and account reviews with top retention practitioners and industry experts Real career progression - we promote from within and are actively building this department Exposure to a diverse portfolio of established DTC brands across fashion, health & fitness, jewelry, beauty, and more A tight‑knit team culture built on Kaizen, openness, and genuine care for each other's growth Flexibility in working hours with notice To Apply Submit your resume, a brief cover letter, and a 2‑minute intro video.
