Digital Experience Manager

This position is designated as a hybrid role based out of our headquarters near Portland, Oregon. The current expectation is for employees to work onsite four days per week, subject to change based on business needs. This in-office requirement may be adjusted at the discretion of the company. ABOUT THE POSITION The SOREL Digital Experience Manager is responsible for creating and optimizing a best-in-class digital shopping experience that drives engagement, conversion, and customer loyalty across Sorel's direct-to-consumer eCommerce channels. This role oversees website experience strategy, onsite merchandising execution, customer journey optimization, and cross-functional initiatives that elevate both brand presentation and business performance. The ideal candidate combines strong digital merchandising, UX, analytics, and project management capabilities with a deep understanding of consumer behavior and premium footwear/apparel brands. They are equally comfortable analyzing performance data, coordinating website launches, and advocating for customer-centric improvements. HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE Digital Experience Strategy Own the online customer experience roadmap, identifying opportunities to improve engagement, conversion, and customer satisfaction. Develop and execute strategies that support business objectives, seasonal priorities, product launches, and brand campaigns. Partner with Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, and Technology teams to ensure a cohesive customer journey across all touchpoints. Champion customer-first thinking and continuously advocate for experience improvements. Site Experience & Optimization Manage the day-to-day website experience, ensuring content, navigation, search, product discovery, and conversion flows are optimized. Monitor site health, performance, and usability, proactively identifying opportunities for enhancement. Lead A/B testing and optimization initiatives focused on increasing conversion, average order value, and customer engagement. Collaborate with site operations, UX and development teams to improve site functionality, accessibility, and mobile experiences. Content & Campaign Execution Manage the ecommerce site calendar, balancing competing business needs. Coordinate execution of homepage updates, seasonal campaigns, promotional events, and product launches. Ensure brand consistency and storytelling are effectively represented across digital experiences. Work closely with Creative and Content teams to deliver engaging customer experiences. Digital Merchandising Oversee onsite merchandising strategies including category pages, product sorting, collections, landing pages, and promotional placement. Ensure products are discoverable, properly categorized, and aligned with seasonal and campaign priorities. Partner with Merchandise Planning and Buying teams to align site experience with inventory, assortment, and business priorities. Analyze product and category performance to optimize placement and customer engagement. Analytics & Performance Management Monitor and report on key performance indicators including but not limited to conversion rate, revenue per visitor, average order value, engagement metrics, bounce rate, search performance, etc Use analytics tools and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and solutions to reduce friction in the customer journey. Develop recommendations and business cases for onsite UX and technology enhancements. undefined YOU ARE Passionate about brand building and ecommerce. Driven to solve problems. Curious about data and motivated to dig into analytics for answers. Comfortable taking action, advocating for their ideas, and are ready to bring their POV to a dynamic team environment. YOU HAVE Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, Digital Media, or related field. 7+ years of experience in eCommerce across digital merchandising, UX, or digital experience management. Experience working with premium consumer brands, footwear, apparel, outdoor, or lifestyle categories preferred. Strong understanding of customer journeys and conversion optimization. Experience utilizing web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools. Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and content management systems. Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferred. Strong project management and organizational skills.
