Supports the leadership team in the strategic planning process including organizing and executing the strategic plan. Supports efforts to partner with corporate business units, business segments and support groups to execute the strategic planning process and achieve strategic objectives.Primary ResponsibilitiesAssists with strategic and ad hoc analysis on the industry, markets, peers, etc. to support senior management as well as strategic planning and executionAids in the continued development and articulation of the bank’s key differentiating factors, opportunities, and threats in the marketplaceAnalyzes group and business-level plansCompiles financial information and market analyses to prepare for appropriate meeting materials and makes relevant recommendations to senior managementCommunicates self-generated information as well as compile, edit, and format content provided by others in the departmentAssists with the management of strategic relationships including those related to equity investment strategies to identify opportunities for long term benefit to the company’s overall strategic planWorks with Corporate Development on strategic analysis related toMergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and other strategic topicsKeeps detailed records to maintain the department's complianceWorks independently with guidance in moderate to highly complex situationsThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.This position is incentive eligible.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related fieldFive (5) years of experience in financial servicesPreferencesMaster’s degreeSkills and CompetenciesAbility to work individually and collaborativelyExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong ability to work with Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPointStrong financial acumen including understanding of financial statements and profitability conceptsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same timeStrong work ethic and self-motivatedPosition TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.Job Range Target:Minimum:$120,998.35 USDMedian:$164,780.00 USDIncentive Pay Plans:This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan.
