University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Workers in Oak Park, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working in a supportive and flexible environment.
Responsibilities- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
- Assist with medication reminders according to care plans.
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
- Follow care plans and company policies to ensure quality and safe care.
- Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Oak Park, MI.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Competitive hourly wage of $14.00 - $19.00, paid Twice a month.
