Lateral Mid-Level Tax Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Lateral Mid‑Level Tax Associate to join their team in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax law, particularly in renewable energy tax credits or corporate transactions involving private equity. Duties Advise clients on tax implications of corporate transactions. Draft and review legal documents related to tax matters. Collaborate with team members on complex tax issues. Conduct legal research and analysis. Requirements 2–5 years of tax experience, particularly in renewable energy or corporate transactions. Strong writing and drafting skills. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Residency in the Nashville, Washington DC, Houston, or Dallas area. Licensed or eligible to become licensed to practice law in the relevant state. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active member of the Bar in the state of residence or ability to waive in. Skills Excellent drafting and legal research skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
