Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while accessing all necessary tools and technology to communicate with clients, effectively engage in teletherapy sessions, and maintain clinical documentation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments using standardized tools to evaluate clients’ mental health status and identify substance abuse needs, creating personalized therapeutic plans that outline client goals and measurable outcomes.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that are reviewed and adjusted based on ongoing evaluations, clinical observations, and client feedback.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions through our telehealth platform, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to clients’ specific situations.
• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations, ensuring clear communication of client progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team to orchestrate coordinated efforts aimed at optimizing client outcomes, participating actively in treatment planning meetings along with case studies.
• Provide crisis intervention services promptly as situations arise, demonstrating your ability to manage emergencies skillfully while ensuring client safety.
• Stay informed about current trends, best practices, and innovative treatment methods in mental health and substance use disorders through ongoing professional development initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will engage a diverse clientele that may include adults grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues. You will play a critical role in helping these individuals navigate their complexities, providing compassionate and evidence-based care tailored to their needs.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure as a mental health counselor in the state of Florida.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in providing mental health and substance abuse treatment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective rapport-building with clients and collaboration with team members.
• Proficient organizational and time-management skills, demonstrating your ability to manage multiple client caseloads effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems is highly preferred, facilitating seamless documentation and client management.
• Familiarity with telehealth methodologies and technology to enhance client engagement.
• Demonstrated success in a remote counseling environment will be considered a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and expertise, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plans, and generous paid time off.
