Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $1,932 per week

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Knoxville, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Schedule Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts (1845 - 0715), every other weekend, total of 36 hours per week. Responsibilities Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized care plans. Identify patient/family teaching needs and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and provide direct patient care through the nursing process. Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission and commence patient teaching in anticipation of discharge. Communicate changes in patient status to the care team to ensure continuity of care and patient safety. Supervise and direct ancillary nursing personnel, promoting effective teamwork. Ensure personal and environmental safety by adhering to hospital protocols and reporting hazards. Contribute to unit functionality through positive communication and participation in team-building activities. Identify and pursue opportunities for professional growth and development. Summarize all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in timely medical records documentation. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid RN License BLS Certification required prior to first shift ACLS Certification required prior to first shift Minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience is highly desired Compensation Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
