Operations Supervisor

Summary/Objective The Lending Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day lending operations of LDF Holdings while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and performance standards. This position directly supervises assigned operational staff, monitors workflow efficiency and productivity, supports employee development, and prepares operational reports. Under the direction of the Director of Lending, the Lending Operations Supervisor helps ensure service levels, quality standards, and departmental objectives are achieved. Responsibilities Staff Supervision and Leadership: Supervise and support assigned team members, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback. Assist with onboarding, training, and development of new team members. Support Human Resources with recruitment activities, attendance management, employee coaching, and performance documentation as needed. Foster a positive and accountable work environment focused on teamwork and continuous improvement. Operations Management: Monitor daily operational activities to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and service standards. Assist department managers with scheduling, workload distribution, and staffing coordination. Respond to operational issues and escalate concerns to management when appropriate. Coordinate communication between departments to ensure operational consistency and effective problem resolution. Support the Director of Lending in implementing operational goals and departmental initiatives. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Prepare and maintain operational reports, metrics, and performance tracking tools. Monitor departmental workflows and identify opportunities for increased efficiency and improved service delivery. Participate in meetings and provide updates regarding departmental performance and operational challenges. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to operational activities. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Assist with quality assurance reviews and internal process audits to ensure compliance with lending policies and procedures. Help ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. Stay informed of company policies, procedures, and industry best practices relevant to assigned responsibilities. Vendor and Cross-Functional Support: Assist with vendor communications and coordination as assigned. Work collaboratively with department managers and business partners to support organizational objectives. Provide operational support for special projects and process improvement initiatives. Supervisory Responsibility This position directly supervises assigned operational staff, including Portfolio Support Agents, Customer Service Representatives, and other team members as assigned. Responsibilities include scheduling, coaching, performance management, training, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Physical Demands Mobility & Posture: This is a largely sedentary role requiring extended periods of sitting. Occasional walking, standing, bending, and reaching are required to handle files and navigate the office. Lifting: Ability to occasionally lift and move standard office files and supplies weighing up to 15 pounds. Dexterity & Equipment Use: Regular use of hands and fingers to operate standard office equipment, including computers, keyboards, phones, and photocopiers. Communication & Vision: Frequent talking and hearing are required to coach staff and collaborate across departments. Close visual acuity is necessary to read computer screens and analyze operational reports. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Must be available to assist staff during all work hours and shifts as needed. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required based on business needs. Travel Occasional travel is expected for this position. Required Education and Experience Associate degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field. Two (2) years of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience. Three (3) years of customer service, operations, call center, lending, banking, or financial services experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements. Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor 0s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field. Experience in the Tribal Lending Industry or a similar consumer lending, banking, or financial services environment. Experience training, coaching, and developing employees. Experience monitoring performance metrics and operational goals. Native American preference will be applied to hiring of this position as defined in Title 25, U.S. Code, Chapter 14, Subchapter V, subsection 273 & 274.
