Job Opportunity – Operating Room Surgical Technologist – Ohio

Start Date: October 23, 2026

Location: Northeast Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time operating room assignment with call coverage on nights and weekends. Duties include both scrubbing and circulating for a variety of surgical cases.

Highlights:

• Diverse case mix including robotic surgery, genitourinary (GU), gynecological (GYN), and general surgery procedures
• Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing cases, performing accurate counts, and proper specimen handling
• Call coverage required for nights and weekends as part of the OR team
• Collaborative team environment with interdisciplinary support
• Contract extension opportunities available for up to 18 months
• Pre-start orientation modules and facility-specific onboarding provided

Requirements:

• Minimum of 12 months recent permanent OR experience (prior to any travel assignments)
• Demonstrated competency in both scrubbing and circulating roles
• Experience with robotic, GU, GYN, and general surgical procedures required
• Active AHA BLS certification required at time of submission
• Valid Ohio license or active compact license in hand prior to submission
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director from within the past 12 months required
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration assessments during orientation
• Clear background check with no open cases and no license disciplinary actions
